drp riyadus-soliheen, Chapter 23 Enjoining Good and forbidding Evil;

194. Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May Allah bepleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, “The best type of Jihad (striving in the way of Allah) is speaking a true word in the presence of a tyrant ruler.”
[Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi].

Commentary: Jihad has many degrees. Preaching of virtue is also Jihad. The most meritorious of all is the effort of communicating the Message of Allah to an unjust ruler. Similarly, if a society is so much given to a vice that no one can dare to utter a word against it, then to protest against it can also be reckoned as the best Jihad.

lazim ajer ade perbezaan dari segi tu. Mungkin ia bergantung kepada audience hadis itu disampaikan. Analogi yang sama adalah apabila Rasulullah dikemukakan persoalan daripada kalangan sahabat mengenai amalan yang paling baik. Pelbagai jawapan yang diberikan. Tak ingatlah sekarang ni antara jawapan2 yang diberikan. Tapi,kalau tak silap, salah satunya adalah berbuat baik kepada ibu bapa.

betol ke ans hadith tu selalu dipakai? Aku selalu dengar jihad paling besar ialah jihad melawan nafsu, tapi hadis ni kata lain sket. itu aja, sekian.

Sudah agak selalu juga dengar hadis ni. Tak pasti status hadis ni. Yang kerap diulang bukanlah selalunya sahih kan.. cth mcm belaja sampai ke negeri china, ada yang mengatakan statusnya lemah.. agak malas nk mencari, yg bertanya boleh cuba google kot..

Kenapa diutarakan persoalan hadis ni? Ade udang di sebalik mee?
